The location of «Golden Nefeli» guest houses, in the village of Agios Georgios Nilias, could not be more ideal. From here, the options for side tours are endless. Just a few minutes away we reach Pinakates (5 km), the beautiful mountain village Hania (7 km) and Milies. Trikeri looks beautiful from the rooms of our traditional homes. The sea is actually «on our plate». The most beautiful beaches of the gulf of Pagasitikos (Afissos, Kala Nera - a beautiful tourist resort- and Lower Gatzea -a picturesque village which has organized campsite), are just 8 km away. From the other side of the peninsula, the Aegean Sea is within short distance and you can enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the prefecture, like the ones in Mylopotamos, Lambinou -with the beautiful clear blue waters- and Fakistra.



The picturesque fishing village on the beach that is washed by Pagasitikos, is amphitheatrically built among three beautiful beaches of Kallifteri, Lagoudi and Abovos. The beaches are golden, with crystal clear waters. The area is picturesque, dominated by the cobbled streets, flowering courtyards and picturesque squares lined with trees and two bridges. In the square of Afissos we can drink water from the same spring where the Argonauts drank just before starting the trip to the distant Colchis.



An equally picturesque village on the southern coast, surrounded by olive groves and golden sandy beaches, suitable for quiet summer getaways. Ancient and medieval finds prove the existence of an old and prestigious state. Major attraction is the restored stone bridge at Lefokastro.



Of the oldest traditional mountain villages in southern Pelion, with neoclassical buildings and old mansions. They are the "Hellenic School" where the poet Costas Varnalis worked as a scholar, and the famous bell tower of the Holy Apostles at 45 meters height, constructed with marble by local artisans in 1914. The beaches of Pau (5 km), of Kalamos (6 km) and Lefokastro ( 9 km) on the gulf of Pagasitikos and on the side of the Aegean, the beautiful sandy beaches of Potistikon (15 km) and Paltsi (13 km) are ideal choices.



A picturesque village with whitewashed houses and blossomed courtyards. At the port of Aghia Kyriaki local fishermen cast their nets, old ladies sit around gazing at the sea and guests enjoy fresh fish, seafood and raki.



This is a beautiful historic village, home of Anthimos Gazis and Gregory Konstantas, built in a wooded part of Pelion, at an altitude that ranges from 250 m to the lowest point (near railway station) up to about 450 m. The square is the heart of social, commercial and administrative activity of the village. It has a unique beauty each season, with lush green foliage in the summer, covered with dense layer of leaves in autumn or white with snow in winter. You will visit many major attractions including the Church of the Archangels with the steeple and the Library. There is also the cave of the Centaur Ηeron, which, according to many local sayings, is the cave under the rock where we find the chapel of Taxiarchis.



One of the most beautiful and picturesque villages of Pelion, a restored village, a living museum of traditional architecture. It has been declared as a preserved settlement and is one of the best preserved Greek villages, with cobbled streets, marble fountains and impressive mansions. It is filled with beautiful towers and estates, such as the Kondos, Geroulanou, Vergou, Katsanaki, Karagiannopoulos mansions. At the spacious, paved, village square you can enjoy your coffee under the shade of the age-old trees. Visit the monastery of St. John the Baptist (1789) and the Church of Zoodochos Pighi (1725).



A small traditional village built on the slopes of Pelion, with a view to the Pagasitic Gulf. Located 27 km from Volos, is a real hideaway. Of unique beauty are the old stone chapels and churches and the square with its beautiful domed fountain. The traditional flair of the village is mostly created by the northern-Greek style architecture depicted in the old mansions. The picturesque square is dominated by the basilica of St. Demetrius and a marble neoclassical fountain of 1894.



The beautiful mountain village on the north, at an altitude of 500 meters, is fairly characterized as the Emerald Stone of Pelion Mountain. It is decorated with cobbled streets, marble fountains, old stone houses and arched bridges, among the most famous in Pelion. The village square is decorated with a 1000 year-old tree. The famous beaches of Milopotamos, Fakistra, Karavostasi and Damouhari offer vacationers memorable and unique emotions.



A mountain village at an altitude of 1,200 m. It is the starting point for the ski resort Agriolefkes in Pelion, which offers organized facilities for winter sports and activities.



It is one of the most beautiful and traditional villages of central Greece, where visitors can find peace and tranquility all year round. It has beautiful natural scenery, natural springs, traditional houses and picturesque cobblestone streets. Do not forget to visit the chapel of «Panagia Portata», which named the area, with displays of old icons and paintings.Also, the church of St. Nicholas, a 3-isle basilica built in 1856 and the Byzantine monastery of St. John the Baptist with many Byzantine icons and sacred ornaments, on the way to the neighboring Makrinitsa.



The renowned village has managed to keep its traditional color intact. The village with its picturesque cobbled streets, traditional stone houses and beautiful preserved mansions attracts enthusiastic visitors, who find peace and serenity under the shade of the trees and surrounded by the lush landscape. The «Balcony of Pelion» is ideal for relaxation and offers the best view to Volos, which spreads 600 m below the slopes of the mountain and the Pagasitic Gulf.
